A standard article is an article that is automatically scheduled to your newsletter in a given launch cycle. These articles are not yet available in the Article Library, but you can still make edits to them.

  1. Locate the article you would like to edit by opening your newsletter preview. (This will open in a new tab.)

  2. Switch back to your IndustryNewsletters dashboard and go to Content > New Article.

  3. Switch back to the preview and select the title text with your mouse cursor, then copy it (using Control + C on a Windows computer or command + C on a Mac.)

  4. Back in the New Article screen, click in the title box and paste in the selected text (using Control + V or Command + V.)

  5. Repeat this process to copy and paste in the summary text.

  6. Now choose the summary image. On the New Article screen, click Choose Summary Image. A box will pop-up.

  7. You can either use an image already in the library or upload your own. To select an image in the library, click Image Library. Type in search terms to help you find the image and tab to another field or click Search.

  8. Once you've located the image, click on it to add it as the summary image for your article.

  9. Switch back to the preview, and click on the article to open it. Select all of the text and the image with your mouse cursor, and copy it.

  10. Switch back to the New Article screen and paste this content into the box.

  11. You may have to adjust the image orientation. To do this, click on the image in the body box, then click the image icon in the edit icons at the top of the box. A box will pop up.

    1. Make sure there’s a number in both the HSpace and VSpace sections, (we suggest 5 or 7.)

    2. Then set the alignment to Right.

    3. (Obviously all of these can be changed if you’d like to play with it a bit.)

    4. Now click OK.

  12. Make any edits to the article that you would like.

  13. Scroll back to the top of the page and switch the Status from Draft to Active.

  14. Scroll back to the bottom and click Save.

  15. Now you can schedule the article as you normally would. (Either from the My Articles page or the Schedule Content page.)

  16. Don't forget to remove the original article from your newsletter. To learn how to remove an article, click here.
