The Article Library
You can access the Article Library by going to Content > Article Library. On the right-hand side of the library page, you can search for articles by Title or Keywords, or you can browse article categories by clicking the Category box.
You can either add content via the Schedule Content menu (instructions here) or you can click the ellipsis on any article card and select Schedule Article.
The articles will always be shown in chronological order, with the most recently added or updated on top. If you've used the article in a newsletter before, you will see a calendar icon indicating this. If you click the calendar icon, it will show you when the article launched.
Content Types
The IndustryNewsletters platform includes the following content types:
General / Standard Content
We provide four Standard articles every two weeks covering a range of topics relevant to your industry. If you are publishing your newsletter every two weeks, these articles will automatically be scheduled in upcoming issues, and can be previewed up to six weeks in advance. You can choose to re-order and remove standard articles. The Article Library also contains a category called Past & Current Standard Articles so you can view all of the standard articles in one place. This is especially useful if you are not distributing the newsletter every two weeks.
Target / Niche Content
These include industry and service specific topics ranging from Auto Dealers to Valuation. Any of these articles can be added to any issue, and they can also be edited and personalized.
Your Own Content
Articles you create can also be added to your newsletter. You can create a custom article by going to Content > New Article. Add a title, summary, summary image, and then the full article. You also have the option of linking to an article at any URL you choose. This could be to your website or another source (i.e. Journal, magazine, newspaper etc.). To link to an article, tick the box that says 'Points to external resource?', then paste the URL into the 'External link' box that opens.
Once you save an article you have written or edited from our library, it will be saved in My Articles.
Trigger Articles
These are used to generate leads or monitor engagement in real-time. When a trigger article is opened, an email alert will be sent to you letting you know the title, who read it, and when. You can choose to have these alerts sent individually in real time, or as a digest each evening.
